60th Birthday party - CARTON HOUSE

The former ancestral home of the Earls of Kildare and Dukes of Leinster was the backdrop to this Regency-themed event. Lady Emily Lennox, the chatelaine of Carton in the 18th Century, inspired us to create a very special weekend for guests traveling to Ireland from Australia, the USA and UK.

We had exclusive use of the historic part of Carton House and put on period music, dancing lessons and card games on the Friday night, followed by a historical tour and an interactive treasure trail around the estate the next morning. For lunch, there was a picnic at the boathouse, with whole roast hams and wild salmon.

On Saturday night, we had a black-tie dinner and a special dance performance by Brendan Cole and his troupe from Strictly Ballroom. The guests danced until dawn and still managed to fit in a round of golf on Sunday.
